Indian River Chamber of Commerce Tourism
With tourism hit hard by the departure of the Dodgers and the economic downturn, the outdated materials were just not luring new faces to Indian River County. The Chamber of Commerce engaged our studio to revamp a fall ad campaign as a last gasp. Eschewing the traditional beaches angle and Chamber logo, we opted for white space, visually dynamic images and concise (but tongue in cheek) taglines for the series. Well-received, the conversions of hits to the landing page, for which we implemented analytics, skyrocketed. Tourism saw a 12% increase and 19% increase in two-years since launch. The campaign was extended to limited billboard placements in select northern cities.
Building on positive impact, we were further contracted to develop a new mark – creating a softer look reflecting the colors of each city. From there, a retelling of Indian River via our “Fresh Squeezed Sunshine” campaign design and development of an editorial-style Visitors Guide. The Guide attracted attention from an elite airline, and selected for onboard distribution.
